Well it sure seems by the look of this board that many powersellers have finally woken up and smelled the coffee. Good Morning!! Wakey Wakey!! Ebay has made some awful changes to the site.
So many new and seldom seen ID's posting on the board this week. Where have you been? All this was announced January 29th. Personally, I posted against these changes in every forum I could until Ebay suspended me from the chats for a week for doing so.
I also moved 95% of my online sales to other sites(and continue to do so). I also stopped selling altogether for six weeks to send a message and had one Ebay bill as low as $37.00 one month.(sending a small financial message)
I also changed the way I list, by closing my Ebay store and only listing starting at 99 cents, to further reduce Ebay's take.
All of this results in about $4,000 per year less for Ebay. Absolutely a drop in the bucket to be sure, but what if:
100 sellers did as me: $400,000 per year less for Ebay
1000 sellers did as me: $4 million per year less for Ebay
10,000 sellers did as me: $40 million per year less for Ebay.
You're all a little late getting on board the upset train, but it's not too late to cut your Ebay fees down to the bare minimum and send the company a message.
Will you do it now!!??
