Over 5000 "No-Longer Registered User's" & Still a Powerseller ?

Ask yourself this question -- should a seller with a 5700+ feedback rating of which well over 5000 are NO LONGER REGISTERED USER'S over a period of 6months still be considered a Powerseller.

Not to mention you would expect that eBaY Trust & Safety would have at least investigated to see why 95% of his so-called sales have resulted in the buyer being NARU'd.

Even more suspicious, 90% plus are PRIVATE LISTING and the buyers feedback is less than 10 and most are less than 5.

Sound suspicious to you? How about over a 100 pages of NARU'd buyers and still no action from eBaY.

Also when you click on one of his NARU'd buyers and check their feedback you will see that the NARU'd Buyers Buyer is also NARU'd. Evenmoreso, if you click on the NARU'd, NARU'd NARU'd Buyer their Buyer's are also NARU'd.

I don't think this takes a GENIOUS to figure out what the heck is going on here, but for some reason the genious's at eBay have still not figured out or even given a second glance at this sellers acocunt.

HOW MANY RED FLAGS DOES IT TAKE TO GET EBAY TRUST AND SAFETY's ATTENTION.

I guess if his shipping costs were $5 more than they should been (in the eyes of eBaY) they would have jumped all over him -- but hey with over 100 pages of NARU'd Buyers I guess all is OK.

What is really scary if you do the extended math you will get well over 50,000 (I am being converative here) NARU'd users cross-associated with this seller.

If this is the way eBaY claims to be protecting the community from dubious sellers / buyers then I would say "GIVE ME A FREAKEN BREAK" -- SOME IN UPPER MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GET THEIR A%S CANNED - cause this is downright ridiculous.

I know what account you are talking about. I think it one of ebays best kept secrets / trust and safety mistakes.

We have had dealings here also with members of similar character and suspicious buying and selling activities.

Needless to say the serial numbers did not match on items that were trying to return and all activities were halted.

I think that the trust and safety department is missing the ball on this one and I have already called my 24/7 support rep at ebay and reported this type of feedback accumulation.

They indicated that this was a real red flag and would be looking into this problem.

I estimated 50000 to 100000 users linked that are no longer registered also when do my searching and doing the progressive math.

The accounts are endless and all users are now all NARUed.

It never ends and is a mindless progression of clicking on links over and over again after 30 to 40 minutes and never ends.

NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU, NARU.

You get the picture in a hurry by following all of the buying and selling activities.

This is a major security problem and needs to be addressed NOW !!!!!!!!

Here is a good one for everyone to read. Here is Ebay's response to me reporting a user with 5000 plus NARU's on his account this guy and all of the bogus feedback is legal according to Trust and Safety Department. The account in their words was high jacked for six months. Give me a break. Read the email below I just recieved. Do they think we are idiots ???

There are a number of possible ways this account takeover might have occurred:

Why have they not then removed all of the feedbacks if they are bogus and why are they still part of the feedback score for this user.

According to Ebays own policies accounts that have been high jacked and the feedback that is left is automatically removed because of illegal activity and now longer counts against the users feedback score.

How can he leave followups if this is not his own sales and why does the times for feedbacks received show as being entered only minutes apart???

Also many of the feedbacks do you know that are left that are all of the same if it was taken over. ???

Example feedbacks were left every 4 minutes or less.

How can they be the same feedback comments from 18 different buyers.

Also how can someone accumulate 5700 plus 5700 feedbacks in 76 months with no negatives or neutrals in the profile without the owner of the account knowing.

Just the emails alone received for the items being sold would read flag any seller for that many transactions ?????

It would not drag on for six months as ebay is claiming.

This is a serious security problem and ebay is not addressing this issue.

It is very disappointing because I have earned all my positive feedback through hard work.

The other thing is this person also claims to have another site with over 10000 positive feedbacks, so how many of those are legitimate and is that one high jacked also to get the perfect score.

It is a matter of ebay rules and principals and the whole response from ebay was a joke and insulting.

WOW -- if that is not a slap in the face -- if thats what they call trust and safety - then they think we are fools to believe that it took eBaY six months to become aware that this joker was pumping up /padding his feedback.

A one-eyed monkey with half a brain would have know what the heck was going on here -- I guess the Trust and Safety group must be smoking some real good stuff or better yet their water fountain must be laced with some real hard stuff.

What a pathetic excuse on the part of eBaY.

So I guess the lesson to be learnt here is that if you wanna get your feedback ratings WAY WAY WAY up all you have to do is make it easy for someone to hijack your account for a few months and sit back and reap the rewards.

Way a joke -- but the joke is really on us Powersellers that are working hard to increase our business the legit way - maybe we should be thinking otherwise cause on eBaY, it pays to be a fraudster.

I wonder how much eBaY made $$$$ on all those illegit transactions -- I am sure (ya right) that they refunded the FVF's.

No problem, better safe than sorry with that user. I will email you the info. He actually sat in my livingroom and face-to-face tried to scam me on an item he purchased from me. Thank heavens for our security system. It wasn't even our item he handed to me for exchange!

I know a seller who has been NARUed for fraud under multiple id's who is at it again...same product...same listings.

They used a family member or friend to open the account so ebay does nothing and they are scamming just the same as ever.

He is the one I talked to and after the red flag went up and we both did some investigation.

We both have had the same dealing with this character.
