Ask yourself this question -- should a seller with a 5700+ feedback rating of which well over 5000 are NO LONGER REGISTERED USER'S over a period of 6months still be considered a Powerseller.

Not to mention you would expect that eBaY Trust & Safety would have at least investigated to see why 95% of his so-called sales have resulted in the buyer being NARU'd.

Even more suspicious, 90% plus are PRIVATE LISTING and the buyers feedback is less than 10 and most are less than 5.

Sound suspicious to you? How about over a 100 pages of NARU'd buyers and still no action from eBaY.

Also when you click on one of his NARU'd buyers and check their feedback you will see that the NARU'd Buyers Buyer is also NARU'd. Evenmoreso, if you click on the NARU'd, NARU'd NARU'd Buyer their Buyer's are also NARU'd.

I don't think this takes a GENIOUS to figure out what the heck is going on here, but for some reason the genious's at eBay have still not figured out or even given a second glance at this sellers acocunt.

HOW MANY RED FLAGS DOES IT TAKE TO GET EBAY TRUST AND SAFETY's ATTENTION.

I guess if his shipping costs were $5 more than they should been (in the eyes of eBaY) they would have jumped all over him -- but hey with over 100 pages of NARU'd Buyers I guess all is OK.

What is really scary if you do the extended math you will get well over 50,000 (I am being converative here) NARU'd users cross-associated with this seller.

If this is the way eBaY claims to be protecting the community from dubious sellers / buyers then I would say "GIVE ME A FREAKEN BREAK" -- SOME IN UPPER MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GET THEIR A%S CANNED - cause this is downright ridiculous.

Putting an item number of something they're selling is not against policy. Naming them is but giving an item number is not.

It's amazing what happens when it's not a bot that looks at things.

Yes Fitz, you can. It's perfectly legit to post an item number for people to look at. You can't name a seller but you can post an item number of theirs for others to look at. Splitting hairs perhaps but that's the way it is.

The "people" at eBay haven't figured it out yet because they haven't looked at it, only the robots have. No human has until you got Izzy on it. Sad huh?

I have talked with Izzy this morning, and gave her my greatful thanks on this matter. The team has knocked this seller down to 635 feedback, and then closed this one account. They are going to have their work cut our for them due to the next step. Ebay is now checking out ALL accounts linked to this 'USER' (tongue in cheek) for their fraudulent activities. I have already seen another user connected with the first one, also with massively high feedback (over 43,000), get closed down as of 6pm last night.

This experience has lifted my level of respect with ebay. Having a real person to contact has been a major key on this escapade. Thank you again Izzy.

Hi Monique;

Well they have cerainly been bad in the last month. Wait until their next examination of Powerseller status and I'm sure they will lose it.

eBay has just never bothered to develop a tool that automatically withdraws Powerseller status once you fall below 98%. I assume they feel that a seller could temporarily fall below that threshold but be back a bove with the very next feedback received and prefer to review accounts on a monthly basis instead.

It's much worse than it looks. They open a new id every year, build it up, than take the money and run. I had one of my customers tell me that she ordered $400 worth of products off them...never received anything and they won't respond to her e-mails or phone calls.

I've seen that guy in here a couple of times. I got a bad vibe from them then. I hate tactics like that and I'm super glad Izzy got to look at and do something about it. Yahoo!

For any Pinks who *may* be reading, see what happens when a human being looks at things!!!! Your robots are missing so very much of what goes on here. It's bad for all eBayers, both buyers and sellers when crap like this is allowed to be on and stay on the site.
