I received a message from Ebay saying "Pay no insertion fees on 1,500 auction-style listings" from the 13th to the 19th. All I'm supposed to do it click on Activate and I'll be able to put up my auctions with no insertion fees.. except that I did activate it and anything that I try to list tries to charge me insertion fees! This happened the last two times that I was offered this: I click on Activate and it doesn't actually activate anything. Why can't this promotion be automatic like it used to be? I'm username funkyn so if you're reading this, Ebay, PLEASE make the Activate button actually work.
Thanks

Did you read the terms of the promo?
http://pages.ebay.ca/promo/2015/0313/FreeAuction.html
5, 7, and 10-day listing duration are included in this Promotion. The Promotion does not apply to relisted items.
You need to use Sell Similar instead of Relist to get free listings in this promo.

Thanks! I didn't even notice that. I wonder why they have that rule? I'm not going to create 75 new auctions - it'll take all day. Ebay's losing out on making $$ off me because of this weird rule.

As the previous poster mentioned, you have to use 'sell similar' rather than the term relist. You do NOT have to start a brand new listing.
