Paypay were uttely frustrating on a claim from a buyer who requested surface for a package sent to England in the first week of December.
NEVER ship surface if PayPal is involved.
You know she will never pay me.
Did you ask? sellers often report that buyers will pay up in this type of situation.
I called Canada Post and the person I spoke with says I can't open a claim until it has been missing for 75 business day
It's 45 days for Air, 75 might be for surface (did you ship surface?)
Recenly another customer bought an expensive Car Deck who initially requested for cheapest shipping to Australia filed a claim 3 weeks prior to estimated arrival time via ground shipping, and got his money back.
Again NEVER ship surface with PayPal, surface mail to Australia can take 3 - 4 months!
I had shipped an expensive Xbox game to UK and item was delivered according to CP tracking system. Within 3 days of winning the item customer filed a claim and got his money back and paypal never investigated this matter further
If there was tracking it was Xpresspost, delivery standard is 5 days, if you responded to the PayPal dispute within the required time frame (10 days) and provided the tracking info it should have showed as delivered. If you didn't respond to the claim....you're burned!
See when paypal gave her money back, it changed the status to unpaid. I will wait to the second to last day to file the NPB.
Why wait? file NOW.
