Paypal Shipping Tool - International Help

Since the newer Paypal shipping tool with the newer pricing, etc, hit a few months ago, I cannot print Xpresspost or Expedited Surface for International customer's packages anymore. In fact, there is no Expedited Int'l Surface anymore. Example size is 116 x 50 x 15 cm boxes weighing 9 kg....(This one I just tried today has to go to Sweden)

There is no way to use Xpresspost as it wont let me go through (keeps saying "The Shipment Option you have chosen is invalid. Please verify the amount you have entered.")

And there is no longer an option in the dropdown to use Expedited Parcel.

Going to canadapost.ca and requesting rates online for these services for this package comes up as @ 119.00 Expedited or 226.00 Xpresspost

So what I have to do is go to the Post Office and have it weighed and go through the shipping process there. Does any one have any solutions or ideas?

I ran some tests and am able to select Xpresspost as well as Small Packet surface to Sweden.

Small Packet? This is way too big for that. And Xpresspost is there, but will not allow you to go any further. (See above) But thanks for trying.

Parcel Post (Surface and/or Air) is only available to select countries and Sweden is not one of them.

To be clear, "Parcel Post (Surface and/or Air) is only available to select countries and Sweden is not one of them" when using the Paypal Shipping tool.

These services are readily available at the Post Office, and used to be available via Paypal Shipping Tool, but not anymore.

How can we find out exactly which countries you can't print a label for?....any one know?

I am able to generate the label (surface parcel) with Canada Post on-line but not with Paypal shipping.

I don't know what the reason is and the biggest package we ship is Small Packet.

I had the same issue with the Phillipines. At the Post Office it was no problemo.

Hi axe,

I'm not sure if PayPal has a listing of the countries that these services are not available to. However, when I was more actively selling...if it wasn't available on PayPal, I would then just use Canada Post online with my Venture One card number and then of course transfer in the tracking number.

When I came across this problem during heavy shipping times, I called PayPal and spoke to a rep and a supervisor. Both said that there was no specific list for us to reference on their site. They said that anything available through Canada Post.com or at the post office should be available with PayPal shipping.

However, we know that it is not.
