Purchased Lot, informed afterwards that less items than stated.

Ok, I bought a lot of hockey cards which said 180+ cards, and paid for them. Some of the cards were listed on the ad, but the majority were not.

two days later, I received an email from the seller stating that there was in fact 30 cards missing from the 180, and he gave me a small refund. I wrote him back to confirm how many cards are in the lot that he is sending me, (referencing the '180+' in his ad), and if any of the cards that he listed as being part of the lot are no longer part of it. I haven't gotten a reply yet, the seller has 100%, and seems genuine.

What are my options?

thanks

First you can ask for a full refund and a Mutual Cancellation. While this would allow both of you to leave feedback, in my opinion, if he gives the refund you should leave either positive or no feedback.

If he refuses, and sends the lot, you are entitled to file an item Not As Described complaint and get your original payment back (less the partial refund). However this requires you to return the Not As Described lot with Delivery Confirmation (signature Is also required if the original payment including postage is over $250).

So ask for the Mutual with full refund. The seller should be aware that not cancelling this transaction can only lead to heartache for him.
