Seller refuse to sell item, bad/rude customer service

Last February I purchased an item from seller. When I sent a simple message asking for a shipping update I got this reply: 

please read our shipping policy... Those aren't just blocks of text to fill up a page.
The answer to that question is very clearly written there in bold under "International Package Tracking" & "First Class International"
Thanks for your business.

I responded in a polite manner and explained that I did not appreciate the rude comment and I believed an apology was in order. No apology was forthcoming. 

I left neutral feedback which anger this seller tremendously. I later discovered that the item I purchased had a minor defect.

 

I eventually forgot about this seller and recently came upon a listing with an item I wanted. I did not recall the seller so I placed a bid and was the high bidder at the end of listing time. I then was contacted by ebay stating my bid was removed and I got no explanation.

 

I would like people to know about this ill mannered seller. His feedback includes more than one case of complaints about rude treatment.

Sounds like a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

He turned down the high bidder because of a simple question, then held the grudge long enough to reduce the price he would get on a new auction.  (He may have put you on a Blocked Bidder List which is a little less intense.)

 

Wonder how long it will be before he starts posting complaints about how sales and prices have dropped?
