Report it to eBay, if it came through THEIR e-mail forwarding.

What is lib gnu?

I'd put them on your BBL. I'd also be wary of their threat. Are they going to buy & do some kind of PP claim or chargeback so you 'lose' your product? I don't like the sounds of that. 😞

I'd be afraid of them opening new ID's to sabotage your account too. Don't have a clue how you'd prove it if you don't have their personal info.

Aside from the implied threat, are you allowed to sell that product online? Some companies don't want their products to be sold online & tell their buyers that. There is a company we buy from that doesn't want certain products of theirs sold online, and we don't sell those online, but we were told this when we bought product from them. Did you get the product in question directly from the manufacturer or through some other means?

Seller vs Seller Harassment - Read this for a laugh

This is just a ridiculous, anti-competitive message from a seller who thinks he can quash small time sellers on ebay by sending harassing and bogus messages.

I analyzed the sender. The 4k member used to sell snowboards, until this summer. He has quite a mouth...he has disastrous DSRs and his FB is marred by angry conflicts with buyers.

I think the sender has a new name and IS currently selling Lib Gnu snowboards. I expect I could find him easily by finding a seller with the same volume and who started the same time the sender left.

Let's look at the message:

Just a friendly reminder, you are not authorized to sell online,

There is no way anyone can tell anyone that they can't resell their item, except signing a specific contract. Anything attempt other than that would clearly violate property rights. The only reason why you would obey a company who didn't want you to resell is that they *could* ban you from buying. I'm not even sure this is possible. This is the capitalist free world here.

so all lib gnu product must be pulled within 24 hours or risk loosing it,

Lib gnu is a snowboard company. I am not even selling any of their boards right now...I sold one (1) last week. I don't think I have anything to looose right now...

Greg Hughes is the sales manager for Lib Gnu. He's probably a nice guy and has nothing to do with this bogus message.

Agree with most of your post......BUT

There is no way anyone can tell anyone that they can't resell their item

If Lib Gnu are a VERO member and want to shut you down they can do so in a heartbeat.

I'm not saying they want to but if they did you will be toast.....
