Provided the items you are shipping are well-packed, there service to the U.S. is great. I had zero damaged, missing or late deliveries this Christmas. You can get a discount depending upon your volume...the rates I get to the U.S. beat Canada Post Expedited. Even if you have to pay a little more for shipping, the custom's clearance, speed, reliability and tracking more than make up for the extra cost.
Canada is another story altogether. I will no longer use UPS in Canada unless it is to a major city. They use contractor's in rural areas and small towns and unfortunately these contractors are VERY unreliable. Having worked in the business for a while in the past, I know that it is the same with all of the couriers. I'll stick with Canada Post for most of my Canadian shipping.
