Shipping to United Arab Emirates

I shipped a ring to a customer in the United Arab Emirates on August 13th. He still has not received it. Has anyone shipped to this location before? This is the first time I have shipped to UAE & would like some feedback on shipping times if anyone has any.

Airmail? Shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks.

Yes, I did ship it airmail. I figure it should have arrived as well. I am wondering about their Custom's system.

Never had a problem usually takes 1-2 weeks by Canada Post AIR. If you used small packets the problem is there is no tracking information and you will have to wait 45 days to start a claim. This is because if it is returned it is sent by Surface and Canada Post allows time for items to be returned to sender before starting claims.

Should have been there by now . BUT i have had packages sent Surface Mail (i know its not air) Take up to 9 Months when they say 4-6 weeks . Could be the same thing could take 6 weeks er something . As long as they dont open claim your fine . Canada post dont insure cash negotiables ither .

I shipped a parcel by air to Italy and it took 1 month, some countries take longer because of their customs! I havent shipped to the Arab Emirates but to other countries in the area. I always let the customer know it takes abit longer to get there because of their customs.
