At first it looked like things would be more costly...
However..... for a bookseller like me...
Going from Premier to Anchor store...... Add $130 per month
Moving up to Anchor store.....2000 more free listings........ from 500 to 2500 listings will be free....Not paying 10 cents per listing SAVES $200
Listing fee stays at 5 cents per 30 days ... above 2500 free listings.. that saves 5 cents per listing
My listing fee for books does not change... stays at 5 cents
Anchor Store... here I come... May 1...
The end result of the changes would be an extra cost of $30 per month compared to today... and not counting any increase in FVF...
In today's world... those extra 2000 free listings per month cost $100... 5 cents a listing....and a saving of this amount .....but with an extra cost of $130 to have an Anchor store... as of May 1.
There has been a continuous purge of certain categories of books from eBay by me ... and there will most likely be more.....
But then... there are other factors ... primarily the exchange rate that will influence my selling on eBay... more US sales, most likely.
Already made major adjustments in prices... expressed in US dollars on eBay... and then postage as well.
My view of the changes, effective May 1, has been adjusted.... Not as bad as originally estimated....
