The DSR display is not working...How will they calculate discounts??

I just went to look at my DSR scores and had a heart attack as they have dropped from 4.9 to 4.3 with no new feedback left.

Then I read on Auctionbytes that many many other sellers have seen the same thing today.

Finally I read an announcement on the American site, saying it it a glitch and they are working on it.

Gee thanks for letting Canadian sellers know!!

I wonder if the drastically lowered DSR's as a result of this glitch will nullify the expected 15% discount I had until their computer program went funny??

How come no one's DSR's went up??

I just cancelled all my listings until Ebay is fixed, as no one will see them anyway with lowered search standing. I'm going away for the weekend. Sorry about your Final Value fees Ebay. Maybe next week, your website will work, but I'm not holding my breath.

All my DSRs dropped like rocks today, and my standing in search is lowered to 'standard'. I'm taking a couple weeks break (no listings till later this month), so I imagine when I get back that the DSRs will be in the 'minus range' and I'll have been kicked out of the Powerseller group.......All this despite great glowing feedback. Why in heaven's name can't eBay just scrap all this DSR nonsense. I've had buyers say they thought the DSR thing was 'just a survey' and that they had no idea that the ratings actually affected the individual seller. When I've shipped multiple items with one shipping charge, I get a '5' on the first item and '3's on the rest "as shipping didn't apply to the other items".......Great......with the economy in the tank and no one able to find my listings, things aren't looking too spectacular................Michael

My 12 month stars look OK, but the 30 day ones dropped to around 4.3 or lower from up in the 4.7 something/ 4.8 something range. These are the ones that affect the discount and placement in search, which I can see, but all the eBay cheerleaders can't see. This morning, my 30-day DSRs are showing as * (asterisks), so I have no idea what eBay is doing to fix this, if anything. Don't get me wrong, eBay is still a good place for me to sell things, and I have no intention of leaving, before some of you folks start in on the regular "go somewhere else" response .... M

Well, I solved the problem, by moving all my listings to another ID that has no DSR's yet to worry about. Maybe I'll make that a weekly thing. Bids are brisk on the other page so far. Use for a week and throw away ID's seem to give the paying customers(us sellers) more exposure on the site for our buck. Maybe that's the way to go, as new Id's and Id's with no ratings appear in listings higher, than established ID's with thousands of feedbacks, that have been exposed to even a single DSR bombing by a mindless buyer.

Another great thing is my other page only has 1 feedback in the last twelve months, making it a 100% feedback ID, as nothing earlier counts now. 100% feedback and placement in search as though I had straight 5's on the DSR's. It was worth moving the listings I think. I think I will change Id's I sell on every 7 days from now on. Then I can offer a no refund policy and ignore my emails as well. When you get lemons, make lemonade, I guess.
