Many sellers do not use tracking on parcels. It is a very expensive addition and while the buyer pays for it, it is not useful to him. Tracking is insurance for the seller
Did the seller mark the item shipped?
Allow 10-15 days for arrival from Europe.
Allow 15-20 days for arrival from North America.
Allow 30 days for arrival from Asia.
Did the seller use a tracked service and give you the number? Track it on his country's post office site. Most will have a English or French choice.
It will not show on canadapost.ca until it arrives in Canada and passes through customs.
