We sold and item, buyer never paid, we'd like to issue a second chance offer to the next person in line.

So we had an item that sold on bids, after numerous attempts to reach the buyer and several invoices we've not received payment... We'd like to offer a second chance to the other bidder. Our question is... do we have to cancel the transaction or open a case prior to offering a second chance to the other buyer? We've been selling for awhile now, but this is the forst time we've run into this...

You open an "Unpaid Item Dispute" then if the buyer doesn't pay you can close the dispute four days later and either send a second chance offer or relist.
