I just noticed something odd. I list my radios in Collectibles and Consumer Electronics. When an items sells there is no way to tell which category it sold in.
The FVF fees for Collectibles are 9% and the FVF fees in Consumer Electronics are 6%.
I always get charged 9% for FVF.
So two questions:
1. Does anyone know how to tell which category an items sells in, if it is listed in more than one?
2. Does eBay just automatically charge the highest fees no matter what category the item is sold in.

I'd guess that if you list in two categories it's based on the the highest FVF rate of the two.
Or
Perhaps it's based on the FIRST category used?

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/two-categories.html
For items listed in 2 categories, the final value fee is based on the fee schedule for the primary category.
Whether this is true in actual practice, I do not know.

Ah Ha! Thanks.
It looks like if I use Consumer Electronics as the Primary Categaroy, I will only be charged 6%. I will switch them all around and see what happens.
Thanks again.
