What do I do if someone's product broke my mini display port?

I need help! I bought a mini display port to HDMI and when I plugged it in it worked fine but when I unplugged it there was a noise that I heard and it was like a suction with a crack and I've never heard a noise like that before I've owned a Mac my whole life since I could use a computer. I need to know what I can do, If the user that I bought it from has to pay for my port to be fixed or if eBay does, or if I have to pay for this myself.

contact seller,see if they will refund,if not ,file a claim as not described with ebay to get your money back.

Don't think there is anything you can do except file an not as described item.

You may be required to send the $3.00 item back to China at your own expense.

You should have read the sellers feedback before buying because it is terrible.
