Shipping takes too long, I have even had an item go from California to New York just to come back west to Alberta. The shipping costs are almost always more than they would be even without adding in the import fees, which seem to be arbitrary. They fluctuate so much and are not even needed, I have never paid as much money to customs (for any item) as I have through the GSP (even items that cost much more). I have pretty much stopped buying anything from people who use the GSP and that probably doesn't hurt the seller much but hopefully it hurts eBay enough for them to add another option which lets you take your chances. But eBay doesn't seem to listen to the complaints, and that hurts the people who use eBay to shop to slightly more remote areas far from the selection that a city would have.
Maybe everyone who wants to buy something from a seller using the Global Shipping Program should ask the seller for a second option so that they can help us since eBay doesn't seem to even try.
