Why has my package been in customs for ten days?

Hi, so I found out today my hair extensions I have ordered has been stuck in customs for ten whole days!! I called Canada post today and that's what they told me,doesn'tanyone have an idea of why and how long it will be, also I was wondering if it could have been already shipped out of customs and that information isn't updated to their system yet, like I said I called I didn't looka online, please help!!!

Hi .. Must have had a # to give CP for them to provide that answer.  I see 2 items , one China and the other US. Neither would be shipped free with tracking as that would be expensive. Delivery confirmation items are not really scanned to provide a lot of information.

From China can take 30 days.
