Hi everyone,
How can I make eBay re-publish the negative feedback that I left to a very dishonest seller?
I've just had the worst experience as buyer ever. I bid on an item and I won it just because the picture in the list looked nice and I even paid a higher amount that the average. When I received the item, it was a totally different item, the list stated that the item was used and needed some clean, but I received a **bleep** item with components falling apart.
Immediately, I contacted the seller and sent him two pictures of the received item. I said that I was very disappointed and told him that it is a dishonest practice. He only answered that item was clearly marked as used item. In total, I sent him 4 more messages in three weeks asking what to do to either return the item or have a partial refund. Honestly, I would prefer the partial refund option because returning the item is most expensive that the item itself ( seller is located overseas).
After 4 weeks, and no response, I decided to drop my request and shared my bad experience so I used my only possible tool, the negative feedback. I wrote literally: "Beware, Scammer. Pictures don't corresponded with item shipped. Worst seller ever!
Right away, the seller send me three separates messages, and told me that he had reported my feedback. Then, I answered that putting false pictures and omitting information about real item condition to attract buyers is a scam, so he is a scammer and a dishonest seller. Next day, my feedback was eliminated.
I only want justice. I want my negative feedback back again, so people can read and be aware about dishonest practice of this bad seller.
How can I made eBay re-publish my feedback?
Thanks.
Mary

The short story is that you cannot.
The long story is that ebay nearly never removes feedback so it would have been a direct result of a misstep you must have made. Perhaps allowing the Return to close? When items are Significantly Not as Described, the onus falls on the seller to fund Return postage. Did you open an official Return request?
There's essentially nothing that can be done to reverse what happened here, but perhaps a lesson to take moving forward.
I'm sorry to hear this was a terrible experience for you.

If you were so unhappy, why did you not open an Item Not As Described dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page?
You would have been refunded, the seller would be required to pay return postage, and he would have a Defect on his selling account which has a lot of weight with eBay.
Feedback is almost meaningless.
It is a useful guide for buyers, but since it is voluntary, it is weighted towards negative transactions.
It's too late for eBay Resolution now, but if you paid by Paypal you can open an Item Not As Described dispute in their Resolution Centre at the top of your PP account page under Tools.
Skip the step that recommends that you contact the seller, you've already done that.
The downside of a PP dispute is that the unhappy buyer is required to pay return shipping with Delivery Confirmation.
No return, no refund.
On the other side of the coin, you have 180 days from Payment to open a Dispute.

Avoid buying again with impulse. Go ahead and find another seller.

That's the standard procedure for international Significantly Not As Described Cases.
Be certain to follow the instruction. Above all, make sure your return postage service is Tracked.
