I noticed they dropped the rates afterwards. I registered this morning and thought it was for PS'ers only. I later read on the eBay Live board that they dropped the rates across the board.
I booked the hotel too. As long as hubby doesn't get mad we're going to the Hilton. lol I booked through the link from the registration page. I went shopping for rates and it looks like eBay got some good rates. According to a bunch of sites I checked with including CAA the rooms are $247 + a night and I got it for $129.
Do you mind my asking what you paid? They have your hotel also for $129 and Crowne Plaza for $98. They say it's 1.5 blocks from the convention center.

You said $129 and $98? through what site because when i go to the websites, i am getting prices like $140 and $180. I do want to go this yr and was late in booking. Some people got in for $37/night across the street.

I got those prices from the link you get right after you register to go to eBay Live. It's from eBay. You won't find those prices elsewhere. If you've already registered, go to the email you got and click on the link for booking accomodations.
