Ebay takes down listings when ebay believes they are not legitimate.

Did you pay? if so, visit the Resolution Centre to get your money back as soon as the estimated delivery date has passed. That is, providing you didn't get what you ordered. 

If you didn't, be glad of that. There are literally billions of items for sale from millions of sellers on ebay all around the world. Pick another. Better luck next time.

Technically, 'eBay' doesn't make false or misleading ads.

Listings are from individual sellers and eBay is the venue, like a magazine or newspaper.

And, as you have found, eBay does remove false and misleading listings quite often.

So what is your real question?

Did you order something and then get the message that the listing had been removed?

You don't have to do anything.

Did you PAY for something and then get the message that the listing had been removed?

While there would be a delay until the last estimated delivery date that eBay gave you this is just a courtesy in case the seller actually is honest*, had a product, and has shipped it.

BUT

You can also go to your Paypal account and open an Item Not Received dispute immediately.

In the Dispute, state that the item has been removed by eBay.

You should get your refund almost immediately.

*From time to time eBay will close down a seller who is behind in paying his fees. This may or may not have an effect on how he conducts the rest of his business.
