I think you may be better to deal with a local auction firm. Check with the Better Business Bureau for reports on auctioneers working in your area.
Only about 40% of all eBay listings ever sell. The process is very labour intensive.
There are Trading Assistants certified by eBay, but you may find their charges high. Those who I've heard of charge the owner all fees, plus upwards of 40% of sales.
You also have to decide if you want to go with the "fast dime or the slow dollar".
