Although a tracking number is reassuring, it is not actually useful to the buyer.
The seller needs the tracking (actually Delivery Confirmation) in Paypal Disputes alleging non-delivery of product.
Tracking is an expensive service. If you want all your purchases tracked, contact the seller before bidding and ask if he does use trackable shipping to Canada and how much it would be. Then compare that cost to his advertised shipping and handling fee.
