pay all sellers at once option in site preferences

Does anyone have any specific thoughts or recommendations for this option that can be found in our  Account - Site Preferences tab?  Right now I have opted out of allowing Buyers to include me when they choose to pay all of their Sellers at once so I guess at the end of the day I am maybe the lone Seller they haven't paid ... is there any benefit or risk to opting in or out? Is there any reason this is even a choice in our preferences ? Thanks for any input....

There was a reason at one time why you might not want to allow it but now there Is no reason not to let buyers pay everyone at once.

Years ago that option was associated with your shipping cost field.  So if you allowed buyers to pay all sellers at once they could change the shipping cost that you had listed.  That probably came from the days when few sellers listed their shipping costs so a buyer could ask the seller what they would charge and then add it in when they paid.  But it has been years since buyers were able to change or fill in the shipping field.

Anything which in any way makes it harder for buyers to pay should be avoided.

The only block I've ever used is the 2 non-payment strikes and I even question that one when I see buyers with hundreds or thousands of feedback blocked because of it.
