response to negative feedback

Greetings everyone
As like most of you I'm preparing myself for the buyers who would prefer to leave a negative rather than try and communicate and work out the issue.I must say though I have had very few issues and sell in a pretty safe category,but we all know it's impossible to please everyone.
My question is: Can we still provide a response to a negative or has that ability been taken away as well.I know we cannot leave a buyer a negative.I find that a well put together response to a negative speaks volumes for the seller.I've seen some very good ones that explain the sellers position in a professional and courteous manner.
I hope everyones golf game has gotten off to a better start than mine.I always find it hard to hit the 9th green from the 8th fairway

I haven't seen anything that would suggest we can't respond to feedback, negative or otherwise, the same as always. And I agree, a well-worded response is going to become even more important now that eBay is forcing us to be dishonest about buyers. If we can't leave a negative, we have no recourse other than not to leave feedback at all, and to my way of thinking, that's a lie of omission.

On the west coast we've been golfing pretty much all winter - and I can't hit the 9th green from the 8th fairway either, but I almost aced number 4 from the 8th tee!!
