Hi everyone,
Looking for a bit of advice i recently sold an item and the buyer has not responded to any of my emails and no payment as of 8 days after the auction. The guy has a 335 rating , 17 negatives and a few for non payment and he always retaliates with the feedback system and tries to twist the truth in his favour although after 17 times its wearing a bit thin
I always neg non payers and have been lucky so far that i havent recieved some retaliation feedback but was wondering if there was anyway to avoid it in advance as i know i'm going to get it from this guy!!!

thanks Mark

If this guy has false contact information, you can remove neg. Otherwise move along, big deal...

I have seen cases where Buyers leave a positive FB but a slightly critical comment and the Seller gives them a neg FB with flaming and almost foul comments.

The problem is that someone that is prone to retaliate is also someone who may hold off giving any FB for a while and then 6 months later leave you a neg FB for NOT leaving him any FB.

There are no guarantees in life, even less in eBay (except their fees will go up and you will be billed)

There are guarantees in life, "Death and Taxes" but I thought those were the only 2 guarantees,, you have raised 2 more guarantees, Ebay Fees will go up and we will be billed

I'd just refrain from leaving feedback if you care about getting a neg in return. There's nothing that you can do to stop it, unless you want to try and get him NARUd. File an Unpaid Item Dispute and if he doesn't respond in 7 days, get your fees returned, and he'll get a strike. Hopefully that will be his third. Drop him a negative around the same time, and generally eBay will get him NARUd within several hours. If he negs you before they NARU him, you can just have eBay remove the neg anyway because NARUd members aren't allowed to leave feedback. But like I said, just leave NO feedback if you don't want to risk it because there's nothing you can do.
