wont calculate shipping costs to usa

i am listing some items.some items will calculate shipping to usa and some wont even when i use the exact same shipping options...one buyer assumed shipping was free and now wont pay.how come it wont work for every item?even though thay have the same shipping selected.

Are you sure you're entering the size and weight info for each parcel in each of your listings? And that you have chosen the correct service, based on this info? For example, the maximum weight allowed for Light Pkt Air to the USA is 500 grams. If you enter 600 grams for the weight of your parcel and then choose Light Pkt Air as the shipping method, people looking at your listing will see "Shipping not specified."

i had used a template and just changed the box size for each item,mostly i used small or medium box .maybe the box size was not correct for the shipping i had selected,im more carefull now when listing but still had a hard time getting some items to calculate even trying different box sizes.some would never calculate...so i did not list thoese items.when i went back a week later they did calculate with the same info.think it was maybe a glitch,not sure.
