I ordered 5 bottles of shampoo, they never arrived and the seller offered a refund. I was only given a refund for one of the 5 bottles in the order, and now because my case is "resolved" I can't seem to request the rest of my refund through ebay.
Seller won't respond- what's my next step?

How did you pay?
I'd start with your credit card, unless you used Paypal to anonymize your financial information.
Then start with PP.
Never pay online with etransfer, bank account, debit card, or gift card. Those funds once spent are not retrievable.

Great point- it was a CC, so I'll call tomorrow. Thanks!

devon@ebay Does eBay have a procedure for buyers when an INAD or INR is closed incorrectly? From my testing of these procedures, in many cases there is no choice for other. Often the options provided are NOT appropriate causing buyers and sellers to just guess. Appears to be next to impossible to correct after the fact.

If there is, I can't find it! Very frustrating, as they don't verify with the buyer if the matter is resolved before closing the case and making it seemingly impossible to appeal or communicate further.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies! In these cases, there are options that can be done to correct the cases that have been closed incorrectly. These would need to be done through customer support as incorrect closings are unique to each transaction.

Hi devon@ebay , Is this discoverable anywhere in help for buyers and sellers to see? This concern is reported on both boards regularly.

@lotzofuniquegoodies I would have to search but I do not believe there is anywhere specifically that calls this out.

Message an account called AskeBay on either Twitter or Facebook. If you do not have either platform, you can create a dummy Twitter account, you don't actually have to use it to post.
When you message them, include the order number and the return request number. You should be able to find both in your eBay messages.
Explain the situation to them, they should be able to help you resolve it.
The reason most people here suggest the Twitter or Facebook customer service is that they are run by actual eBay employees, they are apparently not outsourced.
