I'm trying to make a purchase and the Paypal option that's normally there for me to select is completely gone! I tested ordering other stuff from other sellers and it's the same. There's no Paypal option anymore in checkout. Am I missing something?

Might be a temporary glitch. I just looked now at my listings and it's showing for me.

Interesting.

I just looked at a few items on my Watch List, and as you say no Paypal. No Apple Pay either, although I use a Mac.

On a PC with Chrome. Checking my listings, it's PayPal is randomly missing as an option. Was wondering when it was removed as an option for anyone using Shippo a few weeks ago. Possibly a tinkering in progress? As noted in another recent post the option to update sellers address, payment options has been turned off.

PayPal to remain as a payment option

Sellers that rely on PayPal to conduct business on eBay don’t have to worry about being left behind.

PayPal will remain as a payment option on eBay until July 2023, allowing plenty of time for sellers to transition to the new system.

eBay says that “PayPal will remain an important partner”.

It seems that PayPal will continue to have a place on eBay, it will just be less prominent.

PayPal appears to be experiencing another disruption that has caused it to be temporarily removed from eBay as a payment option.

As usual, you'll need to use a different payment method or wait for the PayPal issue to be resolved before checking out on eBay.

That's really odd, because I've been using Paypal all day to shop on other sites and haven't had any problems. I also just logged onto the Paypal home site and all looks normal there too.
