Considering a purchase, not sure if I have the funds?

Hello.  I have a pre paid Visa that I have been using to make purchases.  I cant find the actual card so I am unable to check the balance.  I have a rough idea of what is left on it... just wondering if I make a purchase ( non auction ) and I don't have enough funds on there what will happen?  Thank you.

Obviously I know that it will be declined, but will the seller give me a bad rating or report me to Ebay or something? Thanks!

Why do it if you do not know you have the funds available to pay for your purchase?  Why?

While a seller can no longer leave negative feedback for non-paying bidders, he will file a claim with eBay to recover some of his fees (yes, sellers must pay fees to eBay when a buyer purchases an item). The seller will have to waste over a week to get some of his fees back and be allowed to relist the item.  He will not be happy.

eBay will then leave a strike on your account for non-payment.

To be candid, I expect many sellers reading your post will add your name to their "blocked bidders" list so you cannot bid or buy from them.  I know I did.
