Gut Check on a Seller that seems legit

Recently I’ve been looking at an item from a seller who has just under 200 rating, 100% positive feedback, with what looks like a legit business registration, been on eBay since 2005.

I went to look at their feedback for items recently sold and found that even these recent items within 90 days do not have a proper link to the item and the item number is 11111111 for all 8 or 9 of them. All the feedback are positive, and they aren’t from people who have a 5 or 10 rating so I assume would be more difficult to fake. Most who left feedback had ratings in the thousands.

I’ve asked the seller for more photos and they have been prompt with providing them. Im guessing there must be a reason for the recent feedback items to all be listed as 111111111.

I’m just trying to do my due diligence to make sure this is not a scam. I’ve been a member since the early 2000 and I have less than 100 rating, only as buyer purchasing from eBay, never selling. I’ve been around, but still have reservations and always weary of scams.

Insights, thoughts, and suggestions welcome.

Check again later just to make sure it is not a temporary ebay glitch. Except for Private Feedback you should be seeing real links for seller sales in the last 90 days that have feedback.

Another way to check would be to use advanced search to see recent sales by that seller.

In the Sellers section set Only show items from: Specific sellers (enter seller's user ID)  and in the Search Including section click off Sold Listings.
