I recently made a sizeable purchase of a new graphics card from eBay.ca. The listing seemed completely legitimate other than the user was new, but again, I’ve bought lots of legitimate things from new user, especially computer parts, in the past without issues. I found out this morning that the listing was removed but my transaction still exists and is paid for.
Note also that the listing was covered by eBay Money Back guarantee and I have used PayPal to pay for the transaction. I would not have purchased the item if it were not for these.
Can you please advise what I am to do in this situation. Note that the seller account still exists.

How "recently" ?
The purchases display page has date ranges for what is shown.

Item bought yesterday. Listing was posted no more than 2 days ago. Today, it was removed. I wanted to double protect myself because of the fact the seller was new and the item was high value so I actually took both pictures and a video of the listing. Today the listing is gone. My order is still available, still says paid for, but the listing itself is gone and returns a "removed" message.

Go down the page to Help and Contact.
Open a Not Delivered dispute in the automated Resolution Centre.
Since the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, delivery) you will be refunded.
If you have problems, the timing is difficult, do NOT go to the subcontractors on the phones. Instead talk with an eBay employee, well trained and with some authority, on the FaceBook page.

The point is that the seller was kicked off eBay after you paid, and you want a refund.
Every thing else is a distraction.
