I have bought quite a few Memory Sticks from Chinese Sellers . They are No Name and most prove to be defective after just a few uses. Best Advise - Don't buy or bid on these !!!

Thank you for the reminder.
It's not a bargain if it doesn't perform.
Memory sticks/thumb drives were notorious a few years back for being advertised with 32GB but actually only being 8GB.
This is a new wrinkle. Someone bought a load of defective sticks that were destined for the dump, perhaps.
As already stated, neither the place of manufacture nor the location of the seller has much to do with this.
Not only do many North American dropshippers give the wrong location for the product, by error or design, but these are items that are almost always produced overseas where labour protections and wages are lower.
Looking at the FB of the seller and reading any negs or neutrals for a pattern* of problems is your best guide.
You have 30 days from delivery to open a Dispute on eBay. The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.
Do NOT accept an offer of a replacement. It won't be any better.
If the seller does not promptly refund you, or if he does not send return shipping costs, eBay will refund you and go after him for their money.
*because every seller will get customers who do not want to be satisfied, but if most of the negs are for a particular item or about slow shipping or non-delivery, flee!
