I purchased 12 months of Netflix. According to the description, the seller is supposed to provide a new account to log in every month for 12 months. After one month, I kept receiving an error message that payment needs to be updated. I found out that ebay removed the seller's listing. I managed to send the seller message to fix the issue or provide me with new account as promised by the seller in the listing. The seller did not respond. I initiated a request for a refund. The seller did not respond for a week and I asked ebay to step in and help. I received an e-mail from ebay that digital item is not covered by ebay money back guarantee. I appealed the decision and it was denied. I tried to communicate with the seller but the seller did not respond. As I was told by the ebay customer service in the e-mail, I tried to report the seller. But since the return case was open by me and closed by ebay, I can not take another action. This seller sold 12 months of Netflix to so many people. I will be one of so many people who were stupid enough to buy one. anyone selling 12 months of Netflix is scammer.

Was there any reason you could not deal with Netflix directly rather than taking a risk with a scammer? Because a Seller willing to scam Netflix is just as likely to scam you.
As you discovered ebay's protection does not apply to that type of purchase.

...if the "deal" seems to good to be true, it usually is...
Next time try signing up legally with Netflix directly?!
Someone, willing to sell this garbage has no issues stealing from you, lesson learned...

Must be the same crooks filling my inbox with fake Netflix warnings. Begins with a notification to update my Netflix payment info, warning service will soon be cancelled. It takes about 2 weeks for this scheme to unfold, the emails arrive regularly with dire consequences escalating with each version until finally, you guessed it, my account has been cancelled!
Still flip on a Netflix show every now and then ... guess the folks at Netflix were just pulling my leg.
