The seller refunded me a little while ago. Item has now shown up. There is no email address anywhere in the paypal transactions. How do I pay the seller back? He just asked me for my email address to send me another invoice, but I don't want to get flagged by the bots for sharing that info over ebay messages. How do I do this?

check your original email from paypal, in your trash, then click on reply, it will bring up their original email, used..

If you do not have that email anymore, you will have to send your email address through eBay. Since you will refund the refund, I don't think there will be problems...

As far as I know every PayPal account holder needs to setup an email in order to receive money, the eBay seller may have a different email address for that purpose than the one on the invoice.
To make it easy on yourself I suggest you contact the seller and ask him/her to send you an email address that's already set up by the seller for receiving money through PayPal.

Go to -> Paypal
Go to->Activity
Go to-> Payments Sent
Go to-> 2020
Got to-> approximate date of payment
Look for the original payment
Scroll down to Payment Sent To-> there's the seller's email and it should be the one attached to her PP account.
But if you are concerned you can now email her from your personal account and confirm that's where your repayment should go.
Once you have confirmed the PP address go to-> Send Money and Robert is your mother's brother.
I just did this, to make sure it worked, for a purchase I made in January 2020.
