What do I do if I paid for an item but my seller opens a case against me?

Hi everyone, 

I recently made a purchase on eBay using PayPal.  I received an e-mail saying I had not paid for the item after placing the order, but I knew I had already paid at the time of purchase, so I thought the money sent was just being slow.  However, my seller recently opened a case stating that I have not paid for the item.  I triple checked my PayPal transaction history, and it definitely shows that I have already paid.  I'm slightly panicking now because it says I have until December 9th, 2013 to pay for the item.  What can I do in this case?

Can't you use the(Unique Transaction ID #) from your paypal to show seller that the transaction was completed? unless the email you received was a scam to get more paypal /ebay info from you.
