First he was ill and now he is injured. True you can be injured and hence "ill' but how..... 'convenient'.
I don't care who it is or what party, there is hardly a one who can be truly trusted and they get away with it for two reasons....a) we let them and ...........b) they can be guaranteed that they have lock-in-step followers who will support their games because those followers are just as bad as they are. We have become too complacent and acceptable of what our politicians do and get away with and as a famous quote once said...... "there is something terribly wrong with this country". Forget about party partisanships, the teams to root for the Liberals or the CONs or the NDP, or whomever as if they are a hockey team. It's time for the people of Canada to take their country back.
The article is being altered for some reason. I went to it earlier in the morning and then went back before I posted and there was no mention of an accident. I just looked and now the article has changed yet again with the last sentence reading........"A beaming PC Leader Tim Hudak first made the [...]" Don't blame me...........speak to iPolitics (whoever they are) and how they manage their site.

Nobody can be that naive, regardless of their political inclination.

I did not mean to stop the discussion. Somehow, it appears that every time I mention Cheryl Gallant posts stop coming.
What am I missing? What am I doing wrong?
Maybe it is because of her anti-gay comments to Bill Graham when she thought he was gay, only to find out later he is married with two children. Or maybe it was her stand against Bill C-250 which was protecting the rights of gay people, but she felt that would inhibit the use of the bible. Or maybe it was her accusation that Christians are persecuted by the Liberal party. Or maybe it was because she avoided the Ottawa Citizens board meetings when all other candidates did attend. Or maybe it was her attack on widows of Newfoundland sailors when she said that they didn't need to call the coast guard because where she is near the Ottawa river they never call them! (obviously she doesn't grasp the difference between a river and an OCEAN!) The list goes on and on including the final one where someone is trying to avoid admitting he is in Pembroke.
Strange world out there.
