This story was updated since I first read it this morning.
Never underestimate the power of Bad Press.
That being said, UPS did lose it. That is the part of the tale that always gives me anxiety as a seller.

My local postal outlet (a Shoppers) is now overflowing with parcels.
Last week wasn't too bad, but this week has gone way over the top.
Normally they only have 1 person working the postal area, now it's 2-3 people working each shift.

Yes, mine too as far as the shifts are concerned but I don't think it's overflowing at the back. It's an interesting problem. I can see the need for Flex Delivery and how it addresses what was a sore point in the online shopping experience, but its creation has caused unintended side effects, namely this Parcel Overflow Problem. If people aren't home when their package goes out for delivery and the parcels must return to the authorized dealers for pickup and the authorized dealers are overflowing with Flex Delivery packages that people are going to pick-up in their own sweet time, then what? How is this to be managed when it's come to a loggerhead?
