Hi everyone,

eBay.ca turns 5 this month!! Let's get the whole community together and have a big party on the Canada Town Square Board. Come and join all the eBay.ca community together with the eBay Pinks from around the world for an hour of food, great fun, lots of laughs and eBay prizes.

When: Friday, April 29
Time: 3:00-4:00 PM ET
Where: Canada Town Square

here is my favorite ebay story....it's kinda embarrasing though(my stupidity)

It's(Ebay) brought me closer to my Mom
When I first started buying on Ebay, I came across these statues made by some artist I had heard my Mom talk frequently about. I bid on them and won,I was so excited!! I gave them to her that hear for Christmas, I couldn't wait to see her excitement. She opened them, and thanked me for them(with very little emotion)
I asked her if she had seen who made them, she flipped them over, still no excitement. Saddened I asked if she didn't like the artist...her reply, "yes I do he's a good friend of mine" DOH!!! Turns out the guy lives local (I had these shipped from a ways away!) and all the time she had talked about him, I was never really listening to her at all! I now to because I realized how much I've really missed:)
