My customer bought a $25 item with local pickup which I offer for free with no handling fees. When I prepare their invoice the estimated total listed is $28.25 ( $25 + $3.25 tax) which makes sense. Once I send the invoice, it states a total of $30.79. There is no breakdown that I can see. That 5.79 tax is equivalent to a tax rate of 23.16%. That doesn't make any sense. Are there other hidden fees that are charged to buyers? or is there something wrong with the system? or the setup of my account? or something else?
Both my customer and myself live in Ontario where the HST tax rate is 13%.

It looks like they are sending a copy of the invoice to their gmail. Afaik that should replicate the invoice sent to the buyer.
