Hi everyone -
Opening the chat up for your questions this afternoon.
Stay warm, and if you happen to be in the Halifax area and haven't given the Retail Revival application a review yet, I'd consider it. Submissions are due the 22nd, and I think it can be a great way to get some extra one on one support and learning.
Talk to you tomorrow!

Hi Tyler, Even with all your help I still have my shipping showing international costs. My sales for the past 3 weeks are way down. Have you heard anything?
Also another interesting problem I am trying to list a lapel pin and on the pin it say "Saxman Native Village" In Alaska but it won't let me list it because the word "Native" is in it. This happens every now and than like I shot glass I had from a Cherokee museum. How can I get around this and still let buyers know what I'm selling. Below is the message I get, and I can't continue
Before completing your listing, make sure you're following these requirements:
If you're listing an art or craft made in 1935 or later and you're describing the item as Alaska Native, Indian, or Native American, you need to:
Include the state or federally recognized artisan’s name and tribal affiliation.
List the item in Collectibles > Cultures & Ethnicities > Native American: US > 1935-Now.

In the last few weeks I have had some buyers tell me that they could not find the Request an New Invoice feature when using the Shopping Cart and/or Buy It Now, both on ebay.CA and ebay.COM. Perhaps eBay could make this more visible for multiple purchase buyers wanting to combine. I have lost some sales because buyers could not find the link to it.

I have the same problem. There are buyers who tell me they uses it with other sellers but not mine which means they've used it and and know how to find it. It seems it's there for some and not others on my sales

Hi Tyler,
I'm glad to see that the Tablet category bug I reported has been fixed.
I use the mobile app to start all my listings and there is one bug that is really annoying. It seems to affect US more than Canada.
For certain items, say a watch or other widget, I will enter the title I want to use and instead of listing a number of products, the app will auto select a product and you can't change it, which means all the prefilled info is wrong. The only way around is to use different "keywords" and then change the title back to what you want. At times the product selected isn't even related to the category. For example, one of my watches I listed (can't recall which one) the app had some sort of coffee product that was chosen.
Maybe the guys could look under the App's hood and see whats up when the catalog only has one match and still let the seller say "that's not my product".

Hi @bunbar - hmm... it was supposed to have been resolved a few weeks ago! When I search your items on eBay.com I'm not seeing the international shipping from the results page that we were seeing before. Are you seeing something different? Feel free to get me examples or more details about what steps you're taking to get those results so I can get it looked into.
When it comes to the listing messaging, we have blocks to listing items and we have advisements. An advisement will give you a pop up, but it will still let you proceed with your listing if you choose 'okay'. A block will completely prevent you from listing the item until you update or change the information we want you to. Are you able to choose 'continue' or 'okay' when that message comes up? Sometimes you can just choose the 'list it' button at the bottom anyway. If it gives you more guff let me know!

Hi @qualityhobbyguy - that can be frustrating, to be certain. In order for the 'request invoice' option to be visible a buyer needs to place more than one item from you in their cart, and you cannot be offering any other type of promotion. If you're able to get any examples of members having issues where this was happening feel free to send me a PM with those details so I can look into it further!

Hi @retroman_studios - glad to hear the tablet issue is put to bed at last!
I'll get your input on the app to the devs and hope that we see something fine tuned in the near future on this one!

Hi Tyler. Thank you for opening the thread and for being here as a resource to us to do so.
I’m concerned about the future of the eBay Canada office given last week’s amalgamation/reorganization announcement. Can you offer us any reassurance?
Thanks.

Hi @momcqueen - I have this statement I can share:
eBay is committed to our Canadian sellers and we have strong leadership in place that is focused on driving seller success on eBay, including Canada’s GM Andrea Stairs and a management team leading business functions that directly support the Canadian seller community.
