Always ask buyers for phone number no longer working

I have selected "Always ask buyers for phone number" in my shipping preferences. However for the past few months buyer's numbers are no longer showing up in the order page. I used to be able to inspect the page source and find the number through there but now they are completely absent from the visual page and the inner source. I have problems with this on Windows, Mac, and Chrome on Android. Does anyone else have this issue and is there a known fix? I contacted eBay support but they were stumped.

No problem with phone number here. On my two other selling accounts. Recent sales on both this past weekend. Using a desktop computer with browser Firefox, Windows Edge, Google Chrome.

In the Seller Hub version of order details the phone number is still available but it's now hidden. Lately I have to click on "See buyer info" to unhide the phone number and email, it's a blue link located directly below the buyer's name.
