This week I have been charged for 2 Canada Post labels on my Ebay account for orders dating back to July, one for an order to Germany and another one to the US. I'm wondering if anyone else has received some similar charges lately?

Were the charges referencing the same tracking number? If so it could be a bug in the system duplicating the charge. System catches after the fact and sends. There is no good reason for a postal charge to show up 6 months later unless the parcel was returned under the original tracking number.
As a side do remember in days of long ago when you could mark an item return to sender and it would be? Then the shipper would be charged on pick up to claim.

Happened yesterday to me, too. Not a double charge (I verified). It was the only charge for this order from July - the label purchased 6 month ago, charged yesterday.

I had a charge in October for a label in July (3 months late). Since it was also an issue with a July label maybe there was a weird glitch/mess up in July that had some items not processed properly.

Yes, I read on the .com board that some July labels were not charged and are being charged now. It would be nice though if eBay advised the reason for this late charge when they billed you.

Mine are also July labels, and I had seen soemthing on a youtube video a week or so ago about it happening on other ebay sites. Guess Canada not immune lol.
Also not a double charge I went and double checked

I just had another one just now from July 31. Yes, would be nice if they told us the reason for such an extended delay. It's a pain to double check that far back but I always print by label receipts so I just had to flip through my file and lo and behold, that one was not yet checked off.

Have you got an explanation as why this is happening? And why any after the fact charges do not include an explanation for those charges?

Just got 1 of these mysterious charges......From August. In researching got the over charge for the shipment of .45 August 4th. The original charge for the label created August 1st never went thru. That was the charge that showed up today. Dec 14th.
For anyone wanting to clarify if it is or isn't a duplicate or what the late charge is for the easiest way is a search by transaction id.
1. Any label charges should never take this long to process.
2. Whenever there is a secondary charge it should include an explanation with a breakdown of those charges. Not here is a bill. Just pay.
devon@ebay can you get this fixed please ASAP. This is a glitch at eBay's end. Not the seller's. This has been mentioned multiple times since ebay labels were introduced but it's never been fixed.
