As a former employee at Indian Affairs and Northern Development, I hope this works well. At least better than the various failed food security services IAND has messed up over the years.

As do I. I worked for a company that shipped medical supplies to all the reserves in Mb, N. Ont and NWT(at the time) 80ies & early 90ies. Our 2 methods were Canadapost which was reasonable back then for smaller packages or the alternative air freight for larger items which was very costly with limited schedules. A nightmare to ship anything that had temperature concerns. Now with selling on eBay I see how much shipping has gone through the roof even for anything small. As of a few months ago any Canadapost small business discounts were not being applied to shipments to Nunavut. Hopefully that has been resolved. So it was good news to hear that they were working on bringing down costs to Canada's northern communities and improving the service.
