Canceled sale, now eBay asking me to ship

I had a sale to France, the buyer asked me to cancel because of the virus situation. Now on "my eBay" on this sale saying that the order was canceled, and under it is another eBay message saying "ship now-past due". It is not going to be shipped it was canceled. I am concerned this may affect my ratings, not possible to phone eBay anymore. I don't see what I can do.

EBay is communicating by email, FaceBook and Twitter.

This might even be better for those unable to deal with call centre workers who have accents.

I've never had a situation like that where it affected my ratings.

I sent an email, I miss the quick response when we could phone.

Because of eBay's timeframes for things to happen seller's see just as baffling information when a buyer asks to cancel a transaction but hasn't paid.  "Please refund your buyer" and sometimes even reminder messages to refund until the system has processed the request.  Why would you need to refund if a buyer has not paid?

The buyer HAD paid. I refunded the buyer thereby canceling the transaction.
