At one time I listed mostly on .com and in US $ and I travelled a lot to the US so I had my payments issued to my bank is US funds. Well that has now changed. Do you think there is any way to pursue changing the way I am now paid especially in light of what is happening with US sales? Any idea on who to contact?

Unless they make an exception given the current issues, you can't change the funds you get paid in. You'd have to create a new account.

I think it's something that should be considered by eBay as many of us have accounts with great history that we will lose. The shift here is seismic. What do want to bet that large volume sellers (greater than 100k gross let's say) will be able to request a currency change where the rest of us won't.
BTW Etsy allows currency change easily. Pretty sure they use the same payment processor.

I do have another account that I get paid in Canadian $ but the problem is the history. I have 61 FB on that one and 3268 on this one from 2002.

Exactly. Same situation here.

The extra currency exchange fee is a nice revenue stream, no motivation to change it at all. Unless it gets bad enough that the number of Canadian sellers dropping off/dropping volume a lot is extreme enough to make them want to provide an incentive to switch.
Always follow the money 😎

I can’t see anything that suggests that in the Etsy Payments Policy, but then, this update takes effect in just over a month:
https://www.etsy.com/legal/etsy-payments/
Available Funds can only be deposited into bank accounts, in the domestic currency of the account

From my account settings on Etsy. You can change your shop currency whenever you like. If you have a USD account the funds will be transferred in USD of the shop currency setting is USD. If linked to a Canadian account, it will be converted.

When Managed Payment came in, we were given a choice, to have our payments in Canadian dollars or USD.
As I recall, it was a one and done choice.
Some grandfathered accounts which had accounts with US banks went with the USD.
And since then US banks have tightened up on foreign account holders.
You might try using the social media (not the phones) to get an exception, but don't expect much.
