How do you do  combined shipping ?

To set up combined shipping for items bought from different listings you set up combined shipping rules in site preferences / shipping preferences. Then you have to associate those listings with those rules.

If you are asking how to do it step by step, there is probably someone else who is more familiar with it than I am.

Are you using flat-rate or Calculated Shipping?

I'm using Flat rate , I still don't know how to use the calculated shipping option

Calculated is easiest. You weigh your item and meaure it; then you set the service. No guesswork.

Appears the reason Calculated shipping is not available with your listings is you are listing on the US dot com site. Aren't only Flat rate or included with that situation?

Sellers who are not in the USA must use Flat Rate shipping for purchases, since we do not have access to USPS shipping.

Unless-

If you are able to use a freight forwarder like chitchatexpress. stallionexpress or one of the others that has been mentioned on the Boards, you can then set up Calculated Shipping. Don't forget to include the forwarder's (apparently quite reasonable) fees for their service.

There is another advantage to using generic services on .com, you'll get much better delivery estimates. Better meaning better for you, they might not look better to buyers (for those that bother to look).

If you do use calculated along with USPS (using a company like ChitChat) keep in mind that will add at least 1 day to your delivery time. If you use Priority with a 2 - 4 day delivery window (1 day handling) you will end up with a lot of late shipments. You will also find that frequently your Acceptance scans won't happen until the 2nd day after you drop off at the forwarder (ChitChat, Stallion etc.).

Generally if I drop off at Chit Chat on Monday afternoon, the Acceptance will be done sometime Tuesday evening but it's not unusual for it not to be done until early Wednesday morning. Parcel Select and Media Mail usually would not show Acceptance scans Wednesday night but sometimes not until Thursday morning.
