Ebay Withholding Funds

A buyer opened a request indicating that he did not receive his order.  I contacted him and he agreed he had received it in May.  He advised me he had requested Ebay to cancel the request.  The request was to be resolved by July 7.  It was resolved well before that but Ebay is still holding my funds.

The same scenerio with another buyer in May.  The buyer agreed he received his order and stated so in the Ebay message service.  Ebay took the money from my account and refunded him anyway.  They stated tracking was not suffient.

Ebay is not refunding fees when we refund a buyer.  They advise they will but this is not always the case.

Need to get a human on the phone, in the vast majority of the cases an algorithm controls this process without human intervention.

eBay refunds the fees IF you resolve the problem without them having to step in. There are exceptions but generally, once they step in the buyer will get refunded and your fees are forfeited.

In the May scenario, did you ask the buyer to repay you?  If you are already in a transaction with them you can ask for their Paypal address and send them an invoice through PP.

"They stated tracking was not sufficient" - Does that mean that there wasn't delivery confirmation showing that the buyer had received the item?

When similar things have happened, I've contacted ebay for business on Facebook by sending them a private message with all of the information.  The are fairly good to deal with there.  You can also send them a message on ebay Twitter.
