K, so I've had an account on eBay .CA for about 10 years. Haven't really used it at all until about 2 weeks ago. I listed some things for sale. Had to add my credit card to paypal and to eBay. I HATE putting my personal stuff out there. Anyway, got an email that said I sold one of my items. Now apparently, I have to pay for a shipping label? I have to set up yet another account at a site called shippo??? And, the email from eBay says that my payment will be held for 21 days after the buyer receives their item?? Is all of this true?? I don't get paid, I have to pay for a shipping label and I have to create another account somewhere???

Your listing is set up so that the buyer paid $25 for shipping and yes now you have to purchase the label. You can do that online or at the post office. It you do it online you have to first set up a small business account with Canada Post to get a small business number...which is free.  An online label may be less expensive and can be printed at Shippo, Paypal or CP's SnapShip. It does take some time to set things up but once they are set up, you don't have to do it again.

Your payment may be held up until 3 days after tracking shows the buyer received the item or longer..it's up to ebay. You might want to read the sellers basics info on the page as there a lot of things that you should know.

I noticed that in your listings you are using one flat shipping rate worldwide but shipping rates vary around the world.  As a new seller it would be best to ship only  to the US and Canada for now and you need to set up a shipping cost for Canada and one for the US.  You can set up your listing to use calculated shipping or figure out a rate at the Canada Post site and enter a domestic and a US shipping flat rate.   I'm fairly sure that pump you are selling will cost more than $20 to ship within Canada and will definitely cost more than that to the US and overseas.
